Location: Griffith Institute of Language’s Main Campus is located in Dublin’s southern suburbs. The relatively large campus with its grey stone buildings occupies the space of several city blocks. Dublin has an extensive public transportation system and there are several bus stops in the area from which it is a short ride into the city. Students who enjoy walking will find they can reach St. Patrick's Cathedral in fifteen minutes, Dublin Castle in 20 minutes and St. Stephen’s Green in about 25. The National Gallery of Ireland and Trinity College Dublin, home to the Book of Kells, are just beyond St. Stephen’s Green.
The College: The Griffith Institute of Language is part of Griffith College, Ireland’s largest private college, founded in 1974. The main programmes offered by Griffith Institute of Language focus on Academic English skills and preparation for international students to further their post secondary studies in Ireland.
Getting there: Dublin Airport (DUB) is located on the north side of the city and students arriving there can travel to Griffith Institute of Language by public transport in approximately one hour via the Airport Express bus to the city centre and taking another bus from there. Alternatively, by car it takes approximately 40 minutes.
