Location: Apollo English Language Centre Dublin is an English language school located in the vibrant and bustling Irish capital of Dublin. The school is a 5-minute walk from the famous Grafton Street and Stephen's Green, beside the European headquarters of LinkedIn. There are cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the National Museum of Ireland, the Book of Kells, The Molly Malone Statue, the National Concert Hall and much more.

Course selection: The school provides English language programmes to students of all levels. In addition to General English taught over several schedules and intensities, Exam Preparation programmes (IELTS, FCE, CAE), Teacher Training courses, Internships, work programmes, and a selection of seasonal junior courses are also readily available.

Social and cultural: Apollo likes to provide a well-rounded learning and social experience for students inside and outside the classroom. In addition to a social calendar of activities and happenings around the city, the school also has an Apollo Student App to assist with arranging and booking specific activities.

Getting around: The school is within a 30-minute walk of Dublin city centre and has many of the city's attractions nearby. There are also several links to public transport nearby, with the Dublin Pearse train station a 15-minute walk from the school and the Dawson tram stop within a 7-minute walk of the school's front doors. “Excellent organisation and teachers.”
“An expensive textbook for only two weeks.”
Insider tip: “Enrol in the activities to socialize.”
Quality of teaching / language progress: Good teachers. Maybe more varied methodology.
Other comments: It's a good centre.
Overall rating
3.0
“The staff and teachers were nice, and the school is modern and comfortable.”
“I was expecting a course addressed to teachers up to C2 level, not C1 and another type of methodology, not centered on the book and IELTS preparation which I was not taking, but more fun and challenging.”
Quality of teaching / language progress: It's addressed to students who are preparing for the IELTS. I was expecting more about the course as well as the teacher Training. There's not a lot I can bring back to my lessons as a teacher.
Overall rating
3.0
“FacilitieS, staff”
“The methodology employed, too traditional and the obligation of paying for the book for short stays.”
Overall rating
3.0
“Well located and correct facilities.”
“The country is expensive, but the value for money is not adequate. It was 20 hours a week but it was not worth what I paid, many changes of teachers, loss of time in class, and the quality of teaching dropped. But it's not a bad school.”
Quality of teaching / language progress: Lots of downtime in class, and that's money.
Other comments: There was no level test upon arrival. They are based on a test that you do at home and in the emails from LanguageCourse.Net it stated that a level test is done at the school to be placed in the right level, which is what you pay for. They also do not give you a student card and in the emails they indicate that they do.

"Very poor kitchen equipment. There was only one broken plastic fork, everything was dirty, sometimes there was no hot water, the washing machines did not work well and are expensive, and the reception staff had very little support.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.
Attila Vertesi verified client

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
