Location: Future Learning Summer School is right in the centre of Dublin, in the Rotunda neighbourhood. The area is home to an 18th century hospital as well as historical landmarks, galleries and museums. The River Liffey runs through the city, and the school is on the northern part.
Getting around: The centre of Dublin is a 10-minute walk from Future Learning Summer School. Temple Bar is 20 minutes by public transport, or those who prefer a nice stroll can reach the area in 25 minutes. The capital has a well connected tram service with the closest station a 5-minute walk from the school entrance.
Package: The courses incorporate English learning in the morning with STEAM workshops in the afternoon. These specific classes will help students learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. Accommodation can be taken in a homestay or in the university residence. In both cases, full board is offered. A travel pass will be provided for those in homestay accommodation, whilst those staying in the residence can get to school by foot. This package will also include cultural activities to local attractions.
Chain: Future Learning has adult and junior courses in England, UK and Ireland. The school was established in 2013 in Dublin Ireland, and branched out to England, UK in 2016. Technology is a running theme throughout the courses, as the team at Future Learning integrates digital media projects into the learning to help advance communication skills.
