- Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
Location: Studio Cambridge Summer Centre - Sir Michael is located in the south of Cambridge, just off Station Road and close to the Cambridge University Botanic Gardens. Around the school there are cafes and bakeries along with local stores and university buildings.
Getting around: The school is a quick 5-minute walk to the train station. From here, there are direct train lines to London in under 60 minutes. There are good connections to other local cities. To reach the centre of Cambridge is a 20-minute walk, or 10 minutes on public transport. There is a bus station very close to Studio Cambridge Summer Centre - Sir Michael, almost opposite the side road to the school. There are popular and regular routes running through this stop.
Courses: This junior package includes English lessons, material, full board residential accommodation nearby, and an activity plan. The lessons and activities are likely to rotate to different times of the day. There is a welfare office, an onsite residence staff team living on campus and a 24 hour emergency number to support the students throughout their stay.
Star feature: Students will receive a personalised academic report at the end of their stay as well as a certificate of completion.
Chain school: Studio Cambridge was established in 1954 as one of the first English schools in Cambridge. With this wealth of experience it is no surprise that they are accredited by the British Council and IALC. They are also members of both English UK and English UK East. The school is part of the Full Circle Education Group, which combines an East-West model for a holistic educational experience.
