Location: Studio Cambridge Summer Centre - Sir Edward takes place at King's Ely Boarding School based in the peaceful countryside of Ely, Cambridgeshire. The school is located only 25 kilometres from the centre of Cambridge. The town boasts historical buildings and a small population. It is a charming, welcoming and friendly town, making it a great location for a Summer Camp for young learners.
Programmes: The school offers a Summer Camp for students between the ages of 9 and 15. Students will take part in General English lessons as well as an action-packed activity programme. The activity programme includes a selection of sports, arts & crafts, cultural activities and an opportunity for students to work on their language skills outside of class hours.
Accommodation: Students will stay in on-campus accommodation. The on-campus residence has both single and shared rooms for students to choose from. All rooms include shared bathrooms and a full-board meal plan. Studio Cambridge Summer Centre - Sir Edward staff live on-campus and provide 24-hour supervision for all students.
Facilities: The campus at King's Ely Boarding School is well-known for its historical buildings and modern facilities. The school has halls that are used for social events, access to computers, a sports hall and gym, an outdoor swimming pool that is heated, tennis courts, a sports field and a dining hall.
Chain school: Studio Cambridge was established in 1954 as one of the first English schools in Cambridge. With this wealth of experience it is no surprise that they are accredited by the British Council and IALC. They are also members of both English UK and English UK East. The school is part of the Full Circle Education Group, which combines an East-West model for a holistic educational experience.
