Location: Fitzrovia is Sol Camps’s neighbourhood, in central London. The course takes place in the campus of the University College London. The area has quiet residential streets as well as hot spots filled with artsy cafes and West End theatres. It is next to the famous bustling Soho district and the chic Marylebone zone.
Getting around: There are a number of tube stations within a ten minute walking distance from Sol Camps. There are connections to the Circle, Hammersmith, Metropolitan and the Northern line. These lines stretch far and wide across the capital. Kings Cross Train Station is a 25 minute walk or 11 minutes by public transport.
Local Attractions: The British Museum and Regents Park are both walkable from the school. All other sites are possible by public transport from Sol Camps.
Courses: There are lessons only, lessons plus activities and full package options for juniors. The full package includes lessons, afternoon and evening activities, accommodation, 2 way airport transfers, insurance and full board.
Star feature: The day programmes are perfect for students whose parents are based in London at the partner adult school or staying in the capital.
Chain: Sols camps was founded in 1996, with their first camp in Toronto, Canada. They offer English junior packages at locations in the UK, Canada and USA. There are courses for juniors and teens, depending on the school, with a variety of day camps and overnight stays. Students will take part in lessons as well as work in teams on projects to enhance their understanding of English.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
