Location: PLUS Junior Centre Uxbridge is located in the London suburb of Uxbridge, West London, around 25 kilometres from Charing Cross Station. The school is housed within the Brunel University Campus and offers modern and refurbished facilities with shops, sporting facilities, and residence halls close by. There are various shops and supermarkets local to the University, ensuring students have all the essentials. The Uxbridge Underground Station is within a 10-minute walk of the school campus. Central London and attractions such as Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The National Gallery and Big Ben are around a 60-minute train ride from the Uxbridge Underground Station. London Heathrow (LHR) is within a 40-minute journey of the school via public transport.
School facilities: The school's facilities include a garden area, on-campus sporting facilities, free WIFI and an on-site cafeteria. Students have access to modern, refurbished accommodation within the school's residence.
Course selection: All courses include lessons, meals, activities, excursions and accommodation in Residence or Homestay. The school's Premium and Classic Junior programmes are available throughout the summer months of the year only. Daily Travel cards are included in both programmes. Full-day trips may consist of trips to London, Oxford, Brighton and Cambridge.
School chain: Professional Linguistic & Upper Studies Ltd, PLUS, has provided quality English tuition and care to junior and adult students for over 45 years. They currently run various centres in locations such as the USA, Canada, Malta, Ireland and England, for several year-round and summer programmes.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
