What we dislike about the school
- Lessons are 45 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
Venue: Located in North London, Ingla School of English is in a vibrant, multicultural neighborhood with many shops and restaurants just around the corner. There is an entrance to the Turnpike Lane Underground station in the same block and to see London’s main attractions, students will mostly need to get on the tube or take a bus. Hyde Park and the British Museum are on the same underground line as the school and travel time is about half an hour. Westminster and Buckingham Palace are also on the same line and only an additional five minutes away.
The School: Ingla School of English offers international students a warm welcome and provides a supportive environment with small classes, so students can get the most out of their time studying at the school. They use an immersive teaching method where students often find themselves recreating real-life situations to improve their confidence as they interact with people outside of the classroom.
Getting there: With the underground so close at hand, getting around the city from Ingla School of English is simple. St Pancras Station, which is the final destination of the Eurostar high speed trains from Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, is less than 25 minutes away (6 tube stops). London Heathrow airport, terminals 2 & 3, is on the same underground line as the school. Total travel time from Heathrow is about an hour and a quarter. Additionally, the school is located just a 10-minute walk from Hornsey Railway Station on the Great Northern Line, an important commuter line which reaches Peterborough and Cambridge.
