- Older students should consider that the average age of students at the school is significantly younger than at most other schools.
- Lessons are 40 minutes long, which is shorter than in other schools.
Location: EF International Language Center Brighton is located in the vibrant coastal city of Brighton, in southern England. Hailed as "London by the sea", Brighton has much to offer students of all ages. EF Brighton is well located to assist with all of their student's needs. The school is housed in a spacious building overlooking the English Channel and is only a short walk from the beach and the famous Brighton Pier. "The Lanes", area of the city is not far from the school, offering a great mix of High Street shopping with the small shops and narrow alleyways of the neighbourhood. Surrounding the school there are various bars, restaurants, eateries, music venues and supermarkets, ensuring that students have everything they may need to have an excellent time in the city whilst reaching their language goals. With regular busses leaving for London every 15 minutes, students of EF Brighton have fantastic access to the school for all arrivals, departures and day trips.
School facilities: EF Brighton is within a historic building with a renovated interior. Facilities include an on-site cafeteria, computer lab, lounge area, games and a dedicated EF activities manager, ensuring that all students reach their goals and surpass their expectations. All classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Course selection: Course selection offers something suitable for adult students of all levels. In addition to General English programmes, EF Brighton offers Exam Preparation courses (IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE), Internship programmes for developing industry-specific language skills, and private tuition.
Accommodation: All of EF Brighton's programmes are available with accommodation, the school offers a range of Homestay and Residential facilities throughout the year.

The intensive course offered by EF Cambridge is designed to those students who are ready to make the commitment to learn English in a reduced period of time - usually because they want to apply for a university placement, or they have an upcoming employment opportunity that uses English.
Classes take place both in the morning and the afternoon, at 32 classes per week (roughly 21 hours). The intensive course is the most popular option that the school provides, which is due to the guaranteed improvements that result from such a considerable amount of time spent on refining your language skills every week. Apart from the carefully prepared lesson plans from their experienced and qualified teachers, you will also be conversing with your peers in English for the majority of the week, which will increase your confidence greatly when it comes to your speaking skills.
Another important reason for the popularity of the intensive course is that the participants receive ten special interest classes, which are lessons specifically catered to the interests and goals of the student. According to EF’s statistics, their students enrolled on the intensive course improve at a rate between 25% to 50% faster than students on their other programmes.

- Generally, course material has to be purchased by all students at the school. The costs of course material will be approximately €45 per course level.
- Comments about courses
The cost of course materials vary depending on the duration of the course:
- 1-6 weeks: EUR 45,
- 7-12 weeks: EUR 80,
- 13-18 weeks: EUR 120,
- 19-24 weeks: EUR 160,
- 25-30 weeks: EUR 200,
- 31-36 weeks: EUR 240.
Cancellation Protection fee: EUR 85 (Non-refundable).
Students must book a travel insurance, which covers the whole period of the course and stay in Brighton. Students can book Erika Insurance Coverage via the school: - Two weeks: EUR 85.
- Per additional extra week: EUR 40.
Students can have another insurance but they must prove they have booked another one.
Accommodation: - The twin room homestay included in the tuition price can be upgraded to a single room homestay for EUR 55 per week.
- Homestays are no further than 45 minutes by public transportation from school.
- Residence accommodation is also available upon request and subject to availability.
Classes are likely to take place on some days in the morning and other days in the afternoon. Students will be given the exact timetable closer to the start date. These are sample times and lessons will fall within the time frames stated depending on availability and time of year.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
