Location: EC English Manchester is located in the vibrant and creative city of Manchester, England. Housed in the city centre, a 2-minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens and the main bus station, the school is a short walk from the city's main shopping areas and the trendy Northern Quarter, which has many eateries, bars, pubs, and event locations. Students have everything within proximity of the school to have an excellent time in Manchester whilst achieving their language goals.
Course selection: Course selection offers something for students of all levels. In addition to General English programmes taught over various schedules and intensities, EC Manchester also provides IELTS Exam Preparation courses and Academic semester or year programmes.
Accommodation: EC Manchester can assist with accommodation in Homestay and Residence facilities local to the school. Meal plans and double room facilities for students travelling together are also available.

Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
