What our students said about Orbetello
Once you know your way around, you really feel at home in this little town. From the cobbler to the launderette, there is everything you need. As we had a longer stay near Orbetello, some of the waiters, shop assistants etc. already knew us. Very friendly. I could imagine living in Orbetello or in the neighbourhood.
A very pleasant town with many restaurants, pasticcerias, gelaterias, stores, pedestrian areas. All within walking distance and outside a nice walking route overlooking the lagoon. You could also easily rent a bike and take a small tour on the bike.
Very nice little town with lovely cafés, restaurants and delicious aperitifs. The large Fenilia beach is approx. 4 km away, but easy to reach by bike.
I love it - very charming and cozy.

Most recent student reviews of language schools in Orbetello

The learning atmosphere in Maria's lessons was sensational. Despite the different levels of the individual students, she responded to everyone and we all benefited immensely. Maria puts her heart and soul into everything she does. I will be very happy to come back and recommend Maria without reservation.

I had mostly private lessons, which made things go quite fast. I also had to speak a lot of Italian, also thanks to the fact that I stayed with a host family, very nice people and animals. There too I had to work hard with my Italian knowledge.
Nice that the school is in the middle of town and within walking distance of all kinds of cafes, stores, squares, ATMs etc. Very convenient that in your coffee break, for example, within 2 minutes you are at a tent where you can have a nice cup of coffee with a 'dolce'.

Maria is an extremely passionate and dedicated teacher. I liked the small classes which meant everyone had plenty of opportunity to contribute. Maria insisted on everyone always speaking Italian, which was challenging but certainly improved my confidence and ability to communicate. I found the additional one-hour of private lessons I had arranged made a huge difference to my progress.
Maria was also extremely generous with her time in taking us on excursions two afternoons each week and one day on the weekends. This meant we got to experience things that would have otherwise been inaccessible to those of us without a car. Orbetello is a fantastic place to study Italian - a beautiful, historic town in a great location with fantastic food and lovely people who are very patient and helpful to those of us trying to learn their language.
If I had more time, I would have stayed longer than the three weeks I spent with Terramare.
