What we dislike about the school
- Do not offer favorable cancellation terms in the case of a student getting a visa rejected.
Location: ISI Ikebukuro Campus is situated in the northwest of Tokyo. It is in the neighbourhood known as Minamiikebukuro, in the ward of Toshima City. There is a shopping district just down the road from the school, with lots of convenience stores, international restaurants and cafes.
Public transportation: There is a large transit station 5 minutes from the ISI Language College. This is convenient as the city is very large, and not possible on foot. From here there are main train lines that go to all the wards of Tokyo, making it easy to visit the top attractions of Tokyo. The station also has the Marunouchi metro line, which runs directly into the centre.
Courses: The group courses are based on students who need a visa and those who do not. Students who need a visa to study are able to book in term blocks. Private courses are also available at the school.
School chain: International Study Institute (ISI) language schools are part of the ISI Group. The ISI Group provides Japanese language schools, vocational schools, universities and study abroad services. Currently, the group has 5 Japanese language schools, 2 vocational schools and a university.
ISI Language Schools support a system called "THE 6 VALUES", helping to outline the values of their schools and educational institutes. These values include: learning from extracurricular activities, a unique educational system, full support from first contact to graduation, having state of the art facilities and learning spaces and more.
