Location: Immerse Education’s Toronto Summer School is based at the main campus of the University of Toronto, right in the heart of the city’s downtown area, next to the Royal Ontario Museum and Queen’s Park. Students on the programmes reside in one of the university's residences for a taste of university life, as they enhance their education and discover the sights and culture of one of Canada’s largest cities, Toronto.
The experience: Immerse Education Summer Schools aim to provide young learners with a truly transformative educational experience. The advanced level course content provides students with a better understanding of what a life devoted to one of these fields may entail. The programme is open to teens ages fifteen to eighteen.
Academic Insights: The award-winning Academic Insights summer programmes offered by Immerse Education see high school students studying undergraduate level topics at top tier universities in classes taught by academics, expert in their fields. The course syllabus combines theory and practical application to challenge students and give them a well-rounded basis on which to build their future successes.
Fields of Study: The Academic Insights Courses at the Immerse Education Toronto Summer School include: Business Management; International Relations; Medicine; Psychology; and Software Development & AI.
Getting around: The U of T main campus has four different subway stations which makes getting around the city very easy. There are also many bus and streetcar lines nearby. International students arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) can expect a travel time of about half an hour by car to reach the campus.
A Global Project: Based in the United Kingdom, over the years Immerse Education has grown on a global scale and now runs similar summer programmes in several countries around the globe, in North America, Oceania and Asia, as well as in the UK.
