What we like about the school
  • Very favorable cancellation terms. You can cancel courses with less than 8 days notice.
What we dislike about the school
  • Older students should consider that the average age of students at the school is significantly younger than at most other schools.

Venue: The city of Toronto is host to English Outdoors’ unique programmes which combine language classes and location discovery into a seamless linguistic and cultural experience. On the shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is a vibrant city full of diverse neighbourhoods to be discovered. Each part of the city has its own special feel and the reliable public transportation system makes it easy to get to know them.

The Programmes: What makes English Outdoors’ programmes different from other summer language school options is the fact that there is no school building. The location itself becomes the school. Classes are held at a different public location every day, indoors and outdoors, from cafés to public parks and important landmarks in the city. Group sizes are small and classes focus on fluency and communication. The public locations are key in this concept as this puts students in a position to interact with native speakers daily. Excursions and activities all work towards improving students' language skills while they experience local culture first hand.

Locations: Students with English Outdoors in Toronto will discover some of the best the city (and surrounding area) has to offer. This can include: the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, the main campus of the University of Toronto, the Distillery District, Kensington Market, Niagara Falls, and Canada’s Wonderland.

Accommodation: Students attending English Outdoors’ summer programmes stay at Chestnut Residence in the downtown core. Located right next to Toronto City Hall, the residence is two blocks away from the St Patrick Subway Station, and near the Dundas Streetcar line. The residence is equipped with a gym open 24 hours, and top floor lounges with panoramic views of the city. Morning and evening meals are taken in the onsite dining hall and cafeteria.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.
Basil Havens verified client
The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.
Attila Vertesi verified client
You're just great, doing a fantastic job. I'll be back in a couple of weeks and be booking my next stay abroad with you again (as always).

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.
Charlotte Brown verified client

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
