Venue: The city of New York is unmatched in North America for its offer of cultural and educational experiences. Immerse Education’s New York City Summer School is held at Columbia University’s Barnard College in Upper Manhattan’s Morningside Heights neighbourhood.
Career Insights: Immerse Education’s New York Summer School runs a variety of Career Insights programmes in which teens from around the world are given unique future career experiences. The two-week programmes combine thirty hours of tuition imparted by experts in their industry with subject based industry visits, ensuring students benefit from experiential learning situations as they assimilate the theoretical aspects of their chosen field.
Fields of Study: Possible fields of study at Immerse Education’s New York Summer School include: Business Management; Banking & Finance; Marketing & Entertainment; Media & Journalism; and Fashion & Design.
The Experience: The teens who participate in Immerse Education’s Career Insights programmes are granted the opportunity to develop critical skills vital to their future careers while discovering new perspectives through their interaction with like-minded peers from different backgrounds. The programme is attended by students aged 15 to 18 who often arrive from opposite ends of the globe.
A Global Project: Based in the United Kingdom, over the years Immerse Education has grown on a global scale and now runs similar summer programmes in several countries around the globe, in North America, Oceania and Asia, as well as in the UK.
