Location: Access to Language Studies New York is an English language institute located in the culturally rich and unique New York City, USA. Housed in the Hillcrest neighbourhood of Queens, on the St.John's University campus, the school focuses on residential summer programmes for junior students. Attractions and places of interest within walking distance of the school include several sporting fields, St John's University buildings and attributes, and Cunningham Park, around a 30-minute walk from the school.
Course selection: The school offers a Junior Summer Residencial package for students aged 14-18 years. The package includes a language course, accommodation, meals, activities and several off-campus field trips per week. These courses take place during the summer months and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
Getting around: The school offers residential programmes with on-campus accommodation. With this in mind, any travel shall be done with the school staff accompanying, assisting students to see the sights of New York City with security and like-minded peers.
Social and cultural: The junior courses are inclusive of activities such as trips to Coney Island, visits to local Museums and places of interest like the MET, Trump Tower and the famous St. Patrick's Cathedral, in addition to some of the city's most popular sites such as Times Square, the Rockefeller Building, Grand Central Station and more.
