What we dislike about the school
- Older students should consider that the average age of students at this school is significantly lower than at most other schools.
Location: Europa School of English is located in the vibrant and cosmopolitan town of Bournemouth, a few minutes' walk from a beautiful stretch of beaches and the town centre. The school is housed in a fantastic historic building, with many restaurants, bars and attractions within walking distance, offering students a great opportunity to enjoy the town to its fullest.
School facilities: The school's facilities include a bistro café, a summer garden, free Wi-Fi, bright classes with modern resources, a lounge area, free water and coffee, and a student support desk to help with any questions or queries about the town, your course or any other information you may require.
Course selection: The courses supplied are suitable for students from a level of A2 and above, with all students being given a level test before their arrival. Courses available include General English (Standard, Intensive), General English + Business and General English + IELTS Preparation. Private lessons are also available on their own or in conjunction with a course.
Accommodation: The Europa School of English can supply accommodation in both Homestay and Residence according to each students' needs, with meal plans (half-board and full-board), optional.
Additional information: All of the school's teaching staff hold a University degree as well as recognised language teaching qualifications. This dedication to high-quality teaching and service is also recognised with their accreditation from the British Council.

“A great strength of the school was the high quality of teaching and the dedicated teachers who were genuinely interested in the progress of the students. During my stay, I had three different teachers, each of whom had their own strengths and were able to respond very well to the students' needs. Through the playful lessons, for example with Kahoot, we not only learned a lot about grammar, but also about the country. I found it particularly interesting that the teachers also drew our attention to the lesser-known side of Bournemouth - issues such as poverty and homelessness - which gave me personally a lot to think about.”

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
