Location: ELC - English Language Center in Los Angeles is based on the campus of UCLA, the University of California, Los Angeles, bordering the trendy neighbourhood of Westwood Village. The large campus boasts more than 400 acres and includes over 160 buildings and sports installations. ELC Los Angeles offers summertime programmes for both adults and teens from 11 years and up. UCLA is in Westwood in Los Angeles’ Westside region, close to Sunset Boulevard.
Junior Programmes: Junior students at ELC can join the Classic Summer programme with English classes in the morning and activities in the afternoons. Students ages 14+ with a high level of English can choose the Junior Entrepreneurship programme, which sees students work in teams to create a business project to be presented at the end of the two-week programme. Their morning classes focus on teaching business and entrepreneurship concepts and they also have an agenda of afternoon activities included with the programme.
Adult Programme: Adult students at ELC - English Language Center in L.A. have English classes in the morning, and a series of optional afternoon activities. The residential programme whether in shared or single room allows students access to campus facilities and includes a half board meal plan on campus.
Perks: Students on any of the residential programmes have access to UCLA campus facilities including the John Wooden Center and its extensive food court, as well as the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center with its Olympic size pools, tennis & basketball courts, gymnasiums and sports fields.
Getting There: ELC - English Language Center Los Angeles is quite close to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Travel time by car is approximately 30 to 40 minutes with average traffic.

This is a day programme with no accommodation or meal options. Students are responsible for finding their own transportation to and from the school. Students should arrive in the morning at 08:30 to partake in their morning classes and leave the campus after their afternoon activities which take place until 18:00.
Transportation fee: USD 175.
This fee includes transportation to/from all daily activities and weekend excursions. It also includes airport transfers for flights arriving Saturday between 09:00 - 19:00 and flights departing Saturday between 09:00 - 19:00) only.
