What our students said about Samara

I felt safe. I appreciated the beach and the local restaurants. I bought some light shirts because it was so hot. Everyone was nice. I didn't take public transportation while I was there. I enjoyed a little nightlife.

5.0Richard

As a woman traveling alone it was not possible to try the night life. The dogs are out of control and unpredictable. They also defend the families on the beach.

4.0Mirjam Switzerland

The city in combination with the beach is great. Lots of opportunities for social life or just the beach. Overall also recommended for longer stays.

4.0Janine Germany

Samara is very nice compared to San Jose: there are no barbed wires around the houses. Still it would not be wise to wander around night time.

5.0Hannele Finland

The nightlife isn't that good, except for the Arriba bar. The groceries are very expensive. Apart from that Sámara is a city in paradise.

5.0Bastian Germany

Nice little town on the beach with many souvenir shops, pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, many of them were closed at the time.

5.0Birgit

The nice thing about Sámara is the beach, otherwise the town or village doesn't offer much. There are some excellent restaurants

4.0Christa Switzerland

Samara is a small place on a fantastic bay, with quite a lot of tourist shops and bars. It's a bit of real "Tico" life.

5.0Ralf Germany

Super location, with a fantastic beach where you can swim really well.

4.0Beate Germany

Small town with a few restaurants. High prices in high season.

5.0Maik Germany

The school was excellent. During the three weeks I was there I had two teachers. They were both very good. The school was well organized and the office staff were very nice and helpful. The school was clean and well organized. I appreciated that the classrooms had 4-6 students and they were air conditioned. I have only good things to say about the school.

How far are you from San Jose?
About 300km – 5-6 hours by public bus.

I am thinking of renting a car during my stay in Samara. Is there any parking spot close to the school and the accommodation?
At the school, one can park just on the road in front of the school. It`s a dead-end road, so not too much traffic happening there. As for the parking at the homestay, it's possible to park on the road in front of it.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
