Why Crieff? Crieff is a quaint little Scottish village, famous for its whisky. It is located an hour on public transport from Perth and just two hours on the train from the country's capital, Edinburgh. Drummond castle is recommended by all who visit for its beautiful gardens, which are a perfect way to spend an afternoon. For those wanting to learn more about the history of the whisky in the region, then look no further than Glenturret Distillery which was first opened in 1775. It is a short half hour walk from the village and explains all for those wanting to know. The village also holds a golf course for those keen to improve on their skills.
