I warmly recommend living in family, you can learn not only the language and local culture and history, but you can also find out something about yourself.

Information about Aberdeen
Why Aberdeen? Aberdeen is known as the Silver City because of the splendid granite buildings and is famous for its lovely parks, gardens and flowers. The city, and in fact the whole area of Aberdeenshire, is a golfer's dream with a vast selection of courses to choose from. There are a high number of whiskey distilleries in Aberdeen to sample this famous Scottish beverage. Aberdeen rests on the coast and there are viewing spots along the waterfront as the area is known for dolphins and if you are very lucky basking sharks! As you can see there are heaps of things to do for individuals as well as families, and everyone will enjoy the city's Amusement Park!

Q&A - Questions about English courses and schools in Aberdeen
I would like to take an English course in Aberdeen, Scotland.
“At present (2023) we do not work with any English language schools in Aberdeen, but we are able to offer private courses in a teacher's home.
This type of programme not only teaches you a language, but also gives you the chance to live with a local person. Living in the teacher's home means that you will have to speak the language of the country you are visiting at all times, even when the lessons are over. These personalised lessons will allow you to progress faster than ever before.
If you need more details, please contact us.”

I am 57 years old lady with a young spirit and would like to improve my English. I can stay in Aberdeen for 2 weeks in September. I like better morning lessons (3 hours a day).
“Study & Live in your Teacher's Home, Aberdeen, is a fantastic way to get the tailor-made experience and tuition that are often appreciated by more mature students. Lessons are one-to-one, with the material being prepared to meet a students' needs. Meals are also shared with your teacher, allowing for an authentic and unique learning experience.”
