Venue: Inspire Academy Biarritz is located just a short walk from the Biarritz main train station, on the outskirts of the city. Being away from the city centre gives students many more opportunities to practise their French every day. But the school is not so distant that travel to Biarritz’ main attractions is an issue. Travel time to the city centre and the Halles de Biarritz, the city’s main market, is around half an hour by bus. You can reach Biarritz’ main beach, La Grande Plage, in approximately the same amount of time.
The Academy: Inspire Academy Biarritz was founded in 2015 and the concept and teaching methods of the school are based on American coaching methods. They offer four main types of programmes: language immersion stays; one-to-one lessons; distance classes and corporate coaching. Their dynamic French immersion programme includes activities, ensuring that students continue learning and expanding their language skills outside of the classroom.
Recommended Attractions: Biarritz is well known for its beautiful beaches and is a great place for surfing. Several of the larger attractions in the city have a marine theme, like the Biarritz Aquarium and the Cité de l’Océan museum. Both of which are easily accessible from the school and well worth the visit.
Nearby: The school is only three kilometers from the Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (BIQ), a ten minute car ride away. Just beyond the school, away from the city, the area is mainly residential with five-star accommodations and a camp ground within walking distance.
