Location: Language Camps Las Palmas is located in the popular destination and capital city of the Canary Islands (jointly with Santa Crus, Tenerife), Las Palmas, Spain. The school is centrally located, close to several eateries, supermarkets, shops, cafes, event spaces and sites of social and cultural interest. Such places within walking distance of the school include the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, the Poema del Mar Aquarium, La Cícer (Playa de Las Canteras), Parque de Santa Catalina, Playa de Las Canteras (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and much more.
Course selection: Language Camps Las Palmas provides Spanish language tuition for adult students of all levels. In addition to General Spanish taught over several schedules and intensities, the school also supplies combination programmes of Spanish plus activities such as Diving (certification), Yoga, Latin Dance, Flamenco, Windsurfing and Surfing. The school also provides Exam Preparation programmes for SIELE and DELE exams. Spanish for Business and Spanish for Tourism programmes are also readily available, as are packs of private tuition.
Accommodation: Accommodation in a homestay with local hosts is suitable all year round, with various meal plans available. Staying and sharing meals with homestay families is a fantastic immersive experience that gives students ample opportunity to practise their language skills.
Getting around: The school has several bus stops within walking distance. The Armas Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Ferry port is around a 30-minute journey from the school via public transport.

“The lessons at Maca were great and I had a lot of fun. I think you get good value for money here. I booked 2 weeks of Intensive 30. In the 2nd week I was alone in the course. It was 1:1, so the lessons were slightly reduced, but of course they were much more intensive. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to do a course in Gran Canaria.”

"Angela was the perfect hostess. Lively, funny, she encouraged conversation. Another student from the school was also staying with her. We went to restaurants together, and she invited a friend along, which further encouraged conversation. On the weekend, we drove in her car to Maspalomas, Fataga, and Mogán, and at the end of the second week, we visited Finca La Laja in Agaete, went to the movies together, and watched TV at home with feedback on the language. She took care of us constantly, and everything was at our disposal. It was wonderful.

“Currently (2024), the lessons of the preparatory course for the DELE exam in LC are held in person. The course has a fixed duration of 2 to 4 weeks and the school requires full payment of all costs before the course starts, but by booking with us, you can split the payment in two and make your life easier. ”
