Location: Kings - Young Learners Centre Ascot is a junior summer school located in the English town of Ascot, on the outskirts of London. Housed within the St Marys School, a 19-th century private boarding school used predominantly for junior summer schools during the summer months, the school campus is full of fantastic facilities, including sporting facilities, 55 acres of land, on-site accommodation and all a student may require to feel comfortable away from home.
Accommodation: Accommodation is given on the St Marys School campus in a traditional boarding school. Room types can vary from single to twin and multiple bedrooms with shared bathroom and washing facilities.
Boys and girls are separated into different buildings. All students are supervised by Kings staff.
School facilities: The school facilities are extensive, including a large and prominent school building built on 55 acres of ground, and many sporting and residential facilities. The sporting facilities include fields for outdoor activities, tennis courts, a large sports hall, and an indoor 25-metre swimming pool. The school campus also houses a modern performing arts centre, a student shop, and a bright and modern refectory.
Social and cultural: The programmes are full of activities, workshops and excursions for students to enjoy whilst getting to know their international peers and practising English.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
