InClasse is a school specialized in teaching Italian as a second language.
It was founded by a group of teachers who decided to create a new school that corresponded to their idea of teaching and learning in a family atmosphere where all students are involved from day one while at the same time deepening the formal aspects of language and grammar.
The school is located in the centre of Verona, a few minutes’ walk from the main square (Piazza Bra with its famous Arena), and other important monuments as well as popular restaurants, bars, etc.

“The after school activities seemed to assume that everyone had a good level of Italian. This was not always the case. To have a tour, and only speak Italian in a normal quick cadence (rhythmic manner) obviously means that some students will miss out on a lot. Better presentations take in the whole audience, and could be done by sometimes speaking a bit slower or in English for some parts; this will also help people improve their Italian as they are more likely to understand what is being said.”

The only downside: The curtains were installed in such a way that they couldn't be moved. As a result, we had to keep the lights on during the day.

"The host was very friendly, but: I thought I would be settled in a large room with air conditioning, as it appeared to be on the photo I was shown, but instead I had a small, stuffy, hot room, with a small high window for 4/5 weeks, and only moved to the bigger room on the 5th week. I thought there would be other students from the school in the apartment, but there were only other Italians.

“You can choose between 9:00 – 10:50 (grammar part) or 11:10 – 13:00 (conversation). If the student is a beginner or almost, I do not suggest to take the conversation part.”
