Venue: Immerse Education’s Sydney Summer School is held at the prestigious University of Sydney, in Camperdown, one of Sydney’s inner-city suburbs, only four kilometres from the city’s central business district. In addition to the academic programme, the green campus provides the backdrop for the activities organised for the students and a point of departure for discovering the sights, history and culture of New South Wales.
Mission: Immerse Education aims to provide motivated high school students from around the world with the opportunity of an enriched education through advanced academics, industry-based learning experiences and connections with a global community of like-minded peers. The programmes in Sydney, held during the Australian summer months, are open to students from two different age groups and are adapted to their specific needs and interests: students aged 13 to 15; and students 16 to 18.
Academic Insights: The Immerse Education award-winning Academic Insights programmes incorporate forty hours of tuition imparted by academics from top tier universities. They offer students an unforgettable experience, studying undergraduate level subjects and following a specially designed curriculum incorporating both theory and practice.
Fields of Study: Immerse Education’s Sydney Summer School offers the following fields of study: Business Management; Creative Writing; Engineering; International Relations; Medicine; Psychology; and Veterinary Science. All of these fields are available for both age groups.
A Global Project: Based in the United Kingdom, over the years Immerse Education has grown on a global scale and now runs similar summer programmes in several countries around the globe, in North America, Oceania and Asia, as well as in the UK.
