Venue: Immerse Education Summer School in San Francisco is held at the illustrious UC Berkeley. San Francisco, and the Bay Area, is rich in modern day history. It is also home to world class HEIs including the University of San Francisco, the University of California at San Francisco (UC San Francisco) and UC Berkeley. Berkeley is on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, across San Francisco Bay. UC Berkeley was the first university of the world-renowned University of California System, founded in 1868.
Experience: Immerse Education aims to provide ambitious teens with the opportunity to discover more about a field they are passionate about and to which they are considering dedicating themselves as a future career. The programmes are open to teens, fifteen to eighteen years of age. They reside in typical college dormitories, and get a taste of life as a university student.
Career Insights: The Immerse Education Summer School in San Francisco offers four Career Insights Programmes in some of the fastest growing industries: Entrepreneurship; Marketing & Entertainment; Global Society & Sustainability; and Software Development & AI. All Career Insight programmes are not only about lectures, they include interactive projects, workshops and industry visits for an experiential learning experience. Over the course of the two week programme, students receive thirty hours of tuition from experts in their chosen field.
A Global Project: Based in the United Kingdom, over the years Immerse Education has grown on a global scale and now runs similar summer programmes in several countries around the globe, in North America, Oceania and Asia, as well as in the UK.
