Location: Expanish in Madrid is nestled in the bustling area of Salamanca. This neighbourhood is known for its glamour with boutique shops, fine dining in both local and international restaurants as well as lots of fancy bars to frequent.
Travelling around Madrid: There is an excellent metro system in the Spanish capital city. Within a 10 minute radius from the school there are 5 metro stations connecting to a number of lines, which reach various destinations in Madrid. The Recoletos Train Station is a 13-minute walk from the school, and from here there are regional lines that run to all the boroughs in Madrid.
City features: From the school, students can use public transportation to reach all the main spots of Madrid. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll through a city, the majority of spots are walkable from the school. The Royal Palace of Madrid, and all the things within its vicinity, is 45 minutes by foot from Expanish. El Retiro Park is just a few blocks from the school, and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is just over 30 minutes on the other side of the park.
School facilities: The modern school building offers the perfect learning environment for students. The classrooms are all designed with ample light for maximum concentration, there is AC and heating for all seasons, a common room with a kitchen, free wifi, computers and wheelchair access.
School chain: Expanish started supplying Spanish courses in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The now group of schools has expanded to add locations in Barcelona and Madrid.
