Location: English Path Malta is located in the popular tourist destination of Malta's St Julians. The school is a short distance from attractions such as St George's Bay and the Bay Street Shopping Complex and has many eateries, restaurants, casinos and attractions nearby. Popular areas such as Balluta Bay, the nightlife and clubs of Paceville and the traditional fishing of Spinola Bay are all close by.
Social and Cultural: English Path Malta provides a weekly social plan for activities and happenings, where free weekly workshops and lectures are readily available. Malta is also home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites Ħal-Saflieni Hypogeum, Valletta, and seven megalithic temples, some of the oldest freestanding structures in the world, all of which are within a 40-minute journey of the school via public transport.
Course selection: The school offers a well-rounded selection of English language programmes. In addition to General English taught over several schedules and intensities, students can also study IELTS Exam Preparation courses and One-to-One tuition packages.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of many attractions and sites of interest. The closest bus terminal to the school is the San Giljan (Maltese for Saint Julians) bus stop, within 150m of the school's front doors.
School facilities: English Path Malta has spacious classrooms with smart TVs, a communal roof terrace, a library, a study area, and a dedicated Student Services office, offering students a welcoming and supportive environment to learn English. The campus provides free Wi-Fi, is wheelchair accessible, and is surrounded by many restaurants and cafés just a moment's walkaway. The modern facilities also allow for interactive lessons and group activities, making it easy for students to practise and improve their English in a dynamic setting.

“The biggest plus point of this school for me was the availability of day and evening classes. Since I work remotely and my working hours are different from Malta's, I didn't have to take a vacation, it was convenient to combine. I studied from 1:45pm, but there are evening shifts as well.
Conveniently, you can join the course on any Monday and study for as many weeks as you have. This is, of course, if you don't need a certificate, but are studying to learn new skills yourself.
In our group the atmosphere was very friendly, a lot of conversational practice, quizzes, which help to better digest the material.
And Malta itself is beautiful: it is warm, delicious, you can walk a lot and practice English in everyday life.”

“Unfortunately, the program was very meager. During the week there was a city trip in the evening and 1/2 trips at the weekend, which were very nice. There is 1 program in the calendar every day of the week, but sometimes it only refers to an event from another provider or, for example, it is the same every week on Mondays.
The school is made for learning and unfortunately not for activities.
Furthermore, the average age is significantly higher than stated (approx. 25), the gender ratio is significantly more female and most of the students come from Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Japan and Turkey (estimated 80%).”

Insider tip: “Order the Tallinja Card in advance and have it delivered to the school. Ideally, however, you should do this 2 months in advance and ask after 1 month whether it has arrived and, if necessary, ask again, as there are often problems. Then travel from the airport to the campus for €2.5 and on Monday to the school for €2.5 and then travel for as long as you like with the card, which costs around €30 once (the card is valid indefinitely, for free bus transportation), rather than paying €25 a week for the bus ticket.”
Quality of teaching / language progress: I learned a lot in this course, it was a great experience with two different teachers and classes. However, next time I would only take the semi-intensive course and use the other time for self-study and spend time with other students, as you can also gain a lot of experience by talking.
Other comments: The staff is very friendly, takes care of every request and takes a lot of time for it. Some of the staff are very young and you can communicate with them at eye level.

"Excellent accommodation with large common areas!

"The Campus Hub is a very nice area with lots of opportunities.
It is only 4.5 km away from the school, but it takes 45 minutes to get to school by bus in the morning according to the timetable, and most of the time also at lunchtime. Buses are constantly late.
The kitchens are quite dirty, the bathroom is quickly under water as there is no proper shower tray and you can hear every door in the hallway/from the room that closes.
The room is equipped with its own desk and pleasant air conditioning.

Is it correct that the school has a restaurant in the same building? Is it possible book some meals there in advance?
“There is a cafe on the ground floor of the school building. However, this is a different business. So students are welcome to buy some food there, but we cannot include it in our price. ”

“Full Board options are only available to students travelling in groups during low season and to Young Learners in Summer.
Campus Hub has the following restaurants outside the Pool area:
- Burger King / Pizza Hut
- Japanese
- Turkish (Ottoman)
- Starbucks Coffee
- Mexican
- A supermarket with hot and cold ready made meal options and student discounts available
Most restaurants are open late (from 10:00 to 23:00) and students have plenty of options for meals on campus. I would recommend they purchase meals in the restaurants that are already in Campus Hub as there is a lot of variety.”

“All our teachers are accredited via TESOL or CELTA, or TEFL and all have a University degree. Our teachers have different background but all of them are from Europe so the English we teach is in fact British English.”

“It really depends on the time of year and the course. I would say an intensive course is more around the university level of age so around 18+ and above. But I would suggest going off the amount of students I deal with is around mid 20s for Malta but intensive courses tend to have older ages. ”
