The school is located in a charming former fisherman’s house facing the marina (Port Vauban), offering a friendly and intimate learning environment in the historic center of Antibes.
This central location allows students to enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle and the authentic atmosphere of Antibes.
Located in the heart of Antibes’ Old Town, the school is just steps away from the beach,
the famous Port Vauban marina, the Provençal market, and numerous restaurants, cafés, bakeries and local shops.

"The course level was the right one for me. The teacher gave clear explanations, the texts, audio and visual material used were interesting and the teaching was lively and at times amusing. My only criticism of the lessons is that pair work, which would have given us more opportunities to speak, was used only once in the two weeks.
There were no afternoon activities apart from a walk into town on the first day to show us around Antibes and there were no excursions."

The school’s location (for adults, right by the harbor, at the second campus) was very pleasant. The high-quality technical equipment (smartboards) is also worth mentioning.”

Personally, I found the long break between the core classes in the morning (until 12:20) and the afternoon small-group classes in the intensive program (2:00–4:00) a bit inconvenient. If you want to go on excursions, you should opt for the additional one-on-one lessons (12:30–1:30 p.m.).”

"The residence I was in, Aragon residence, was 20mins walk from the school on foot without the possibility of getting to the school by public transport. It was in Juan-les-Pins, which is rather less convenient than Antibes for getting to the school, for bus transport (Antibes is a hub for bus services in the area), for shops and for the evening. For me, the only advantage Juan-les-Pins had was its beach.
My room was a reasonable size - in fact it was a double room - but there was no comfortable seating and very little space to put things down on: just 3 very small shelves and a very small table. With the cooking facilities it was possible to do very little except warm things up and perhaps make a simple pasta dish.
On the positive side there were tables on the patio around the residence building at which you could sit more comfortably than in the room and the person supervising the residence was very helpful if you had any problems or needed information.

Can my 15-year-old daughter skip the activities in the junior programme at the Centre International d'Antibes?
“No, as she is 15 yo, she must be in the junior program, and the junior program includes French courses + activities/excursions. It is not possible to skip them. Not all the activities/excursions are mandatory, but the mandatory ones, she must participate.”

“It is not allowed to cook and use the kitchen of the host family. You can choose only breakfast but I always advise students to book half-board if it is a long stay.”

Is there a place for lunch near the school? I looked at everything with Google Street View and it looks more like a residential area.
“Depending on the level and availability, we have two school locations. This will be announced shortly before the course starts after the level test.
Located in Le Port, the student is in the city center and surrounded by restaurants, snack bars, bakeries, etc.
There is a cafeteria at Le Chateau school for around EUR 10 per meal (can be booked directly on site) or it is a 10 minute walk from the centre.”

“Unfortunately, the school we work with in Antibes does not allow students to only take the exam.
On the other hand, I can offer you a week of preparation for the DELF exam at the Center International d'Antibes with the exam taking place at the end of the week. The registration fees for the exam are to be added. ”

“Students staying with a host family can be accommodated within a maximum of 30 minutes by bus from the school. They have to take a bus to get to school themselves, or walk if they don't live far away. All the families we work with have a bus connection from our accommodation.”

“Arrival is on Sunday and departure is on Saturday. Saturday activities are not included in the one-week programme as students leave in the morning. If students want to stay until Sunday and attend the programme on Saturday, they will be able to join the excursion on Saturday but they will have to pay for an extra night.
