Location: BEBAS Language and Culture Center is across the River Elbe from the main hub of the city. It is in the neighbourhood known as Äußere Neustadt, which has a vibrant night scene with lots of bars and nightclubs to visit. The school is a short walk from the Kunsthofpassage Dresden, which is a collection of quirky cafes, boutiques and art galleries.
Getting around: Dresden has a well connected tram line that stretches throughout the two sides of the city, making connection between the two straightforward. The closest tram stop to the school is the Görlitzer Straße, which is situated on the next block. The Dresden Neustadt station is under 20 minutes by foot from BEBAS Language and Culture Center. From here students can catch the FlixTrain.
Main features in the city: A vast majority of the main features of the city are situated in the main heart of Dresden. This is a half hour walk from the school, crossing the Augustusbrücke bridge. Alternatively, students can use public transport and arrive there in around 20 minutes. Once here, it is possible to visit the Frauenkirche Dresden Church, Zwinger Palace and the Semperoper Dresden Opera House. The Moritzburg Castle is just outside the city in the nearby municipality known as Moritzburg. This is 40 minutes by bus from BEBAS Language and Culture Center.
Course: The school has an intensive course throughout the year for those wanting to concentrate on general German. During the summer months, this course includes some cultural activities. There are also private lessons, a conversational course as well as an evening class.
Non-immersion languages: BEBAS Language and Culture Center not only teaches German but it also offers group and private classes in English and Spanish.
