Location: Apollo Junior Centre Cork is located in the second largest population in the Republic of Ireland, Cork. This seasonal junior centre is housed in the award-winning University College Cork, within a moment's walk of the city centre. There are several amenities, shops, eateries and attractions nearby, ensuring that students have everything they need to have an enjoyable and memorable time within reach.
Getting around: Cork is around a 3-hour journey by car, southwest of Dublin Airport. All excursions have private transport. Airport transfers from Dublin or Cork are available through the school at an additional cost.
Course selection: Immersive junior programmes are available to students aged 11-17 during the summer months. These programmes include 15 hours of tuition, accommodation, all meals, activities and excursions. These programmes include 24/7 supervision and assistance.
School facilities: The school's facilities are excellent and include many recreational and sporting spaces and equipment, such as hockey pitches, tennis courts, a climbing wall, indoor and outdoor running tracks, dance and spin studios and more.
Accommodation: Accommodation is available in residence within single en-suite rooms or homestays with local families.
Social and cultural: These junior programmes include two full-day excursions throughout the week and Sunday excursions to Cork city. There are a wide variety of evening and afternoon activities and happenings daily. Activities can include sports, Irish dancing, discos, walking tours and much more.
