What our students said about Vigo

Public transport: quite well developed with an acceptable timetable. The bus station for regional buses is on the outskirts. Vigo card for urban transport (with reduced fares) is only available to citizens of the city. Tourists have to pay the full fare (currently 1.35 EUR/trip without the option to change trains). Climate: inconsistent weather. Rain can hardly be predicted. You don't need to expect excessive heat, rather a mix of sun and clouds. Affordability: relatively cheap for me; With every drink (including coffee!) there is usually a tapa, so that you don't really need a "main course". Public transport prices at the usual level in Spain. Shopping: not too many shops in the city center, the usual shopping centers a bit outside. Each district has its own small center with small shops.

5.0Sebastian Germany

It is a nice city, but you have to go relatively far to get to the green. What is very nice is to visit the islands. It is also not very far to go to Santiago the Compostela and to go to Porto in Portugal, but if you go to Porto, you need to stay there at least a night. There is so much to see. Santiago you can do in a day. it's about an hour by train and by bus.

5.0Johannes Germany

Vigo is a ‘right sized’ city. It has great public and private transit to other parts of Galicia. It also has bus, train, and plane options to the rest of Spain and Europe. The seafood and food in general are fantastic.

5.0John

It is a great place, the only downside is the public transport, that is really hard to use thanks to mere impossibility of buying tickets online, and quite often with the only option of paying in cash to the driver.

5.0Zdeněk Germany

An interesting city with a good location by the Atlantic Ocean, easy to reach by bus, many good excursion destinations.

4.0Sten Sweden

A very varied and exciting city; I liked the mix of old and modern, water and city life, with inviting beaches and sea.

4.0Angelika Germany

It’s a great city for seafood and history. Great hiking and easy to walk because of the escalator systems.

5.0Shirley

Lovely town by the sea, lovely with the slopes, we took escalators and lifts up the town.

5.0Kristina Germany

Vigo is a city with a high quality of life.

The director Alexandra is flexible and accommodating. Our main teacher, Alfredo, is excellent at working with adult learners. The Wednesday evening ‘Get Togethers’ were useful for putting our learning into practice.

Small classes. Teaching to the level required. Very nice, specially the excursions. For every level of "Spanish", the courses are adapted to the level of the students. Very recommendable.
It was definitely the nicest school we visited. It is perfect for communicating in Spanish.

The evaluations by students after they complete a course is excellent. The discount for using your website is also a great incentive. It also would be wonderful if the website would include more cities and a bigger selection of schools in each city.

The service of languagecourse.net is great, I booked already 3 schools and I can highly recommend it. In fact, I tell everybody I meet on my journey in South America about this website and how well everything is organized.
Gabriele Ragger verified client
I am very satisfied. I found more/relevant information on your webpage than on the school's website itself. It is the cheapest offer. I'm going to book my next course on your site soon.

Your service was excellent, really following up and holding my hand.! My older step-brother used your service a few years ago to study Spanish in Salamanca and Granada and we found LanguageCourse.Net so helpful then as well.

Just keep up the good work. The organization is excellent, so that even less experienced travellers would feel ok to come to China. I also felt really good in the host family, they were really great!
