What our students said about Amman
Amman is not particularly pedestrian-friendly. There are virtually no public parks in the city centre. The food is very tasty, especially the traditional Jordanian dishes. In my opinion, the weather is ideal for studying in summer. You can feel the thousand-year history of the place.
An interesting city with some historical sights, but a lot of traffic and correspondingly bad air. As a woman, it's easy to travel around. And with the Uber or Kareem app, you can get anywhere easily and relatively cheaply.
Amman is noisy, the air quality is not great and the public transportation is very limited and hard to navigate. However, the people are warm and friendly and the city is located near a lot of very interesting places.
A welcoming city, with plenty of road traffic and easy access to the sights. Despite the crisis in Israel/Gaza, a feeling of security and relaxation at the school's location.
The climate: it was cold therefore only 2 stars. Climate outside is not a problem, the problem is that it is also very cold inside. Sometimes colder than outside.
Unfortunately, there are few public transports and they are poorly signposted or hardly understandable for foreigners
Amman is an important city, so all infrastructure is well equipped, so it will be easy for anyone to come and live.
I didn't check out the nightlife, but it's an interesting city with historical sites worth seeing.
I really like Amman It's a city where you feel safe People are kind and helpful
A wonderful, peaceful, and safe place with plenty of activities to suit all.

Very nice company and nice joint activities. Lunch was usually offered at lunchtime, despite Ramadan. The students come from all countries.

Course: Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) Intensive - 1 week
Student age: 56 years

Great teachers, not only the language but also the culture was taught, I got a lot of background knowledge that I can use well in my job. Arabic is one of the most difficult languages to learn. Both teachers, Du'a in the first week and Dareen in the second week, were very patient with me. The other staff were also always very nice.
