Location: Village Camps Zell Am See is a junior summer camp located on the outskirts of the Austrian town of Zell am See, on Lake Zell, south of Salzburg, Austria. The school is housed 10 minutes from Zell am See, in the village of Piesendorf, in the centre of a mountainous valley with 360' views. The camps are within the Notburgahof Chalet, a family-run hotel exclusive to Village Camps during their summer camp period.
Course selection: There are several summer camps available to students aged 13-17 during the summer months.
The language programmes are available in German and English. These programmes are all-inclusive of tuition, accommodation, meals, activities and excursions.
Activities within these camps can include international nights, prom nights, team-building exercises such as capture the flag, movie nights, campfires and many more.
Excursions included in these programmes can include trips to Salzburg, the Krimmi Waterfalls, the Sigmund Thun Klamm Gorge, and an overnight stay in a Moutain hut whilst participating in a two-day hike through the Austrian Alps.
Accommodation: The Chalet is very welcoming and friendly, ensuring students feel at home in the village of Piesendorf, in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Each room is shared between 2-5 campers and is with en-suite facilities. Bedroom sharing is aligned according to age and gender.
