Venue: UKG Language is located in the market town of Ringwood, in southeast England. Ringwood is about half-way between Bournemouth and Southampton. It has a long and interesting history dating back to the time of the Domesday Book and its market square has been home to a weekly market since medieval times. UKG Language is right on Ringwood’s High Street, near shops, cafés, eateries and pubs. Ringwood is in a privileged location between the New Forest and the sandy beaches of England’s south coast.
The School: UKG Language has been providing junior camps since 2012 and offers programmes for teens ages 12 through 17. Their summer programmes combine interactive experiential language learning with activities, outings and excursions. Their dynamic programme allows students plenty of time to have fun and assimilate the daily lessons in the process. Students on the residential programme stay with local host families on a full board basis and have easy routes to the school either on foot or the local bus.
Getting around: Ringwood has an express coach service to Heathrow and Gatwick as well as London’s Victoria railway station. There is also more local bus service between Ringwood and neighbouring towns, as far as Bournemouth and Salisbury.

Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 20. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
