Location: That´s Mandarin is in the south of Hangzhou, in the Shangcheng District. It is in the north of the region, close to the West Lake. The school is in a busy area, with lots of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and shops. There is a shopping mall 11 minutes by foot from the school.
Getting around: The Longxiangqiao Metro Station is just behind That´s Mandarin school. It is a station on Line One, which connects throughout the city and runs past both the Hangzhou and East Railway Station. There are a number of bus routes that run past the school.
Major attractions: The central feature of the city is the West Lake, which is under 10 minutes by foot from Hutong School. The Leifeng Pagoda is south of the river, and students can reach here by foot in just under an hour. In the centre of the lake, the Three Pools are Mirroring the Moon. The northern point to visit is close to the school.
Course structure: The school offers an intensive Chinese programme that can be booked as a stand-alone course or combined with accommodation as a package. Hutong School also offers an internship programme and a gap year package.
