Location: Sprachcaffe is right in the heart of Florence, in the San Giovanni neighbourhood. It is on the same side of the river as the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence. The area is filled with restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, clothing stores and cafes.

Getting around: As Sprachcaffe is centrally located within the city, it is very easy to walk to most of the major things in Florence. There is a bus stop a few blocks down from the school that has a regular bus route running past it. For transportation in and out of the city, the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station is a 12-minute walk from the school. There are trains that run to nearby cities as well as to Rome from its platforms.

Major attractions: The Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence is the focal point of the city. This is just 8 minutes by foot from Sprachcaffe. The Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery are also a short walk from the school. The Pitti Palace is on the other side of the river to the school. Crossing the Vecchio bridge, students can reach the palace in 10 minutes. The Piazzale Michelangelo is on the same side as the palace. This is 23 minutes by foot or 20 minutes by bus.
