Location: Scuola Conte Ruggiero is located in the inviting and charming village of Santa Domenica, Southern Italy. The school is housed in a beautiful modern building surrounded by its very own garden with citrus fruits as well as banana and avocado trees! The town centre is only moments away, with some of the most beautiful beaches in the region only a short walk from the school's front doors.
School facilities: Scuola Conte Ruggiero has excellent facilities, complete with resources and amenities designed to engage students, whilst providing them with a natural and familiar atmosphere. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable inside, with open-air classes taking place outside in the large garden space around the school building. Additional facilities include a common room with a TV, a library, lounge, cafeteria, free Wi-Fi and free parking. All classrooms have an ample amount of natural light, creating an optimal working environment.
Social and Cultural: Scuola Conte Ruggiero also provides many activities and excursions that can be arranged directly at the school, ensuring students a memorable and fulfilling time in Santa Domenica.
Additional information: The school's philosophy is that learning a new language should remain "fun and relaxing". This is surely helped by the very homely atmosphere and surroundings of the school. “It was a joy going to school every day! I really liked the teachers, the informal but interactive and instructive method, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I liked that the school was small, and feel that I got as much language practice out of the course as I might have wanted. Having classes in the open, with a garden around us, was unusual and pleasant. I also liked the small and quiet town, with the sea nearby.”
“While having classes in the garden was pleasant in June, this might not work when the weather is more extreme (hot / cold), and the indoor classroom, while bright and spacious, may limit the number and language level of students admitted to any particular course. Just speculating here, not a problem I have observed.”
