What we dislike about the school
- An older average age per class than in other schools in the same city.
- Cancellation fees for students having to cancel due to visa rejection.
Location: NaCLIPS is located in the beautiful and historic city of Naples, Italy. The school is located in one of the most famous avenues in the city centre, which links the railway station to the historical centre. Nearby there are plenty of bars, pizzerias and restaurants. It is close to the Garibaldi railway station (the central station of the city) and the Duomo metro 1 station. The harbor and the historical centre are all within walking distance from the school building.
Facilities: The school is in a beautiful and newly renovated building, staircase A 4° floor with elevator. The venue is very bright with large windows. There is a hall with a secretary station, five classrooms, a big salon and three balconies as a common area for the students. The communal space can be used to study, chat, have tea and relax. The school also organizes seminars and activities. Each classroom is provided with tables, chairs, whiteboards, air conditioning, fans, balconies. In the library students can choose narrative, grammar or Italian culture books. WIFI and didactic materials are included.
Course structure: NaCLIPS offers Italian courses suitable for students of all levels, with group programmes in the morning, afternoon and evening. Specific courses such as "Italian at the table", where Italian is learned through the friendly processes of dining, along with exam preparation courses for the CILS/CELI exams, are also available. Programmes of Private Tuition are available throughout the year.

“Two of us came in the first half of December and had a B2 course to ourselves, i.e., very intensive lessons with Maria and Silvia. Both were super nice and understanding, always excellently prepared and always answered all our questions. They were extremely flexible with us, always concentrated on the subject and focused on us as learners. We felt that we were in very good hands the whole time and also made very good progress linguistically. The division of our mornings into two double lessons and a final joint lesson with the students on the B1 course was also very intelligent; this meant that we were always able to talk to them at the end and get to know them too. The school is very well organised and located in a vibrant district, which makes it the key to the city.”

Take a walk along the sea on Sundays and have a drink at the many outdoors cafes. Visit Castle St.Elmo on the top of the city for the best views around. Find a local bar to have a coffee in every morning and connect with the staff there and make it your own. Visit the catacombs in the funky neighborhood of Sanita’. Buy a ticket to Teatro San Carlo, the oldest opera house in Europe. Tours are also available. Pompeii is also a great day trip.”

integrated into the lessons which made learning more relative while still keeping to the teaching of grammar.
I had homework which was not laborious that I in fact looked forward to doing.
If I had trouble with a certain lesson my teacher would stop and review the grammar.
Other comments: Communication was excellent from the first e mail to the last WhatsApp goodbye and good luck.
The teachers are professional but also really make learning fun and relative to life in Naples and Italy. We were offered coffee and cookies often before our lessons, very sweet. We were all invited to share a beautiful cake marking the 4th anniversary of NaClips. The location is in the middle of the city, 3 minute walk from the metro and is set between 2 interesting neighborhoods. I researched 3 other schools before choosing NaClips and I know I made the correct choice.

“Students can usually attend a course with a tourist visa for up to 90 days. If they wish to book a long term course and apply for a student visa they will have to register for at least 20 hours per week. The school offers courses with 15 or 20 hours per week. Students have to arrange the visa for themselves. The school can send an invitation letter for visa application once they have received full payment for the course. “The lessons are scheduled from from 9 to 12 from Monday to Friday. Each lesson lasts an hour and a half, and there are two teachers who take turns. There will be a five minute break between the two lessons. In each lesson there is a part dedicated to grammar and one to conversation, and there is always homework to do for the next day. On Tuesdays at 12:15 pm there is an hour of free group conversation that the school offers to students, and every week (Thursday or Friday) there is a free cultural activity, which changes every week (walk around town, pizza, aperitif, seminar at school). If there is no group for the student level, then the school will offer an individual course of one and a half hour a day without paying any extra.”
