Location: LTL Mandarin is in the north of Chengde city. It is in the West Street Residential District, close to the Chengde Mountain. It is in a busy part of the neighbourhood, on a central road. There are shops, restaurants, supermarkets and grocery stores lining the streets.
Getting around: The city does not have a metro system but students can use the bus system to navigate around, or a taxi service.
Main attractions in Chengde: The Chengde Mountain Resort is 6.1km from the school, roughly a 15 minute car ride. On the other side of the mountain is a selection of temples including the Putuo Zongcheng Temple, Acht Äußere Tempel and Puning Temple. The trip to this area is between 15-20 minutes by car depending on the time of day.
Course structure: The school offers Mandarin classes as immersive programmes. There are group options such as a standard course or immersive course, which is different based on the number of lessons the student takes per week. Another option for students is an individual immersive experience.
