Location: LTL Korean School Seoul is a language institute located in the huge metropolis of Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. The school is housed within the Hongdae neighbourhood of the city, close to amenities, many shops, eateries, bars and further places of social and cultural interest. Attractions in the area include the Hongdae Shopping Street and the Wausan Athletic Park.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of several bus stops and train stations. Bus stops include Rodeo Street stops and the nearest metro station is Sangsu Station. The closest international airports to the school are Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport.
Course selection: The school provides Korean courses for students of all levels and various ages and necessities throughout the year. In addition to General Korean which is taught all year round, LTL Korean Seoul also provides Junior programmes throughout the summer months and individual private tuition. Private tuition can be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other programme.
Social and cultural: LTL Korean School provides regular activities for students to engage with the local culture and language, whilst also engaging with the international student peers of the school.
Accommodation: The school can provide accommodation in Homestays with local families and in mini-apartments. All accommodation is allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to availability.

"The location couldn't have been better. But the tiny apartment had no windows and often smelled musty. My goshipwon provided free ramen, eggs, and kimchi in the shared kitchen.

"My room was not as clean and tidy as in the pictures. The sink was clogged, the joints were dirty, the walls were porous, the shower door was broken, the bed wobbled, the mattresses were rock hard and there were cockroaches!!!!! The fridge wasn't exactly appetising either. Conclusion: the location is great, but I would never stay in this room again. It was just unpleasant to be there. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. If the things mentioned above don't bother you, there are also washing machines and dryers there.

“We usually spend only one week (or less) teaching hangul. If the student only knows hangul and nothing else they might not finish the level. It also depends on the class, some classes go faster.”

“Flats, mini studios, student residences and shared flats are always bookable from the age of 18 or 19. This is for childcare and insurance reasons and for your own safety, as you are not yet of legal age. However, you are very welcome to stay with an experienced host family if you are 17 years old.”
