Location: Instituto Superior de Español Cotacachi is located in an Andean indigenous community close to the town of Cotacachi, Ecuador. Cotacachi is a small town, around 12km north of Otavalo. This unique experience has students staying with local families, where they shall also learn.
Course selection: The Spanish Programme in the Andes Highlands is available to students of all levels. The course includes full-board accommodation within a local indigenous family. Optional Organic Agriculture volunteer programmes are also available in conjunction with this course.
Social and cultural: A student's stay with a local indigenous family offers a direct path to seeing and learning from the area's ancestral communities.
Getting around: Transportation is given to students to and from Quito airport (arrival/departure).
