Location: Huara Spanish School Pichilemu is located in the beach resort and commune of Pichilemu, in Central Chile. Renowned for its surfing and beautiful beaches, the area has much to offer in terms of extracurricular activities. The school is housed downtown, with several eateries, supermarkets and attractions close by, whilst also being just a short drive from Chile's number one location for surfing, Punta de Lobos. The area surrounding the school is very quiet, surrounded by nature and calm.
Course selection: The school offers Spanish courses suitable for students of all levels. They also provide Spanish courses in conjunction with activities such as surf and yoga. Fully immersive programmes are also readily available throughout the year, allowing students to enjoy the community feel that the school cherishes. Huara Spanish School also offers a Traveller's course, enabling students to take lessons in Chilean culture whilst studying Spanish.
Getting around: The closest Airport to Pichilemu is Santiago International Airport, which is around a 4-5 hour bus journey away.
Social and Cultural: In addition to the obvious draw to Surfers and the surfing culture, Pichimelu also offers a range of sites of interest, museums and attractions. Such places include the Agustin Ross Cultural Centre, the Mirador Playa Infiernillo, Ross Park, Bajel Lagoon, the old train station and the Plaza Arturo Prat.
