Location: Good Hope Studies is located in the unique city of Cape Town, South Africa's administrative capital city, which sits between the coast and Table Mountain. The school is housed in the leafy, upmarket, and very safe residential area of Newlands. A large detached building is on private grounds, including a garden and pool. Attractions and sites of interest within walking distance of the school include several commercial shopping malls, sports stadiums, many eateries, and some parks and green spaces.
Course selection: Good Hope Studies Cape Town provides English language programmes for students of all levels all year round. In addition to General English taught over various schedules and intensities, the school also provides Exam Preparation (TOEFL, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS), several English & Volunteering programmes, Senior 50+ programmes, and courses of private tuition. Private tuition can be taken in conjunction with or independently from any other programme.
Getting around: The school is within walking distance of train services.
School facilities: The school has several attributes to ease and promote social engagements within the school. Such characteristics include an outdoor pool, a large
garden, a spacious lounge area including a kitchen with free coffee, tea and coffee, and
on-campus accommodation. The huge terrace is often used for outside-classes during
summer. WiFi is available for free to all students.
All classrooms have ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Good Hope Studies recommends this course for all those students who want to spend a significant amount of time using and developing practical English communication skills. This overall approach is supported by their small group format, as every participant will find it easier to speak publicly, and also find it easier to connect with their teachers and colleagues.
Although a lot of importance is given to communication skills, participants can still expect to cover the fundamental language skills of: speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will progress rapidly on a schedule of 20 classes per week - not to mention regular homework that your professional teachers will issue you 3 to 4 times every week.
