Location: Gaia Amazon Spanish School (AGS) is located on the banks of the River Napo, Ahuano, Ecuador, in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. These spectacular and vibrant surroundings give students a unique background for their Spanish studies, whilst also providing many opportunities to create memorable moments. A short distance from the AmaZOOnica Wildlife Refuge and surrounded by the marvels of the Amazon Rainforest, Gaia Amazon Spanish School offers students an enchanting, mystical and safe setting for their studies.
School facilities: The facilities of AGS are majestic, surrounded by the Amazon Rainforest and created with as minimal impact on the surrounding landscape as possible. Facilities include a kitchen, cafeteria, restaurant, lounge areas and WIFI. All classrooms have ample natural light to create the optimal learning environment, with free water dispensers also available to all.
Accommodation: Due to the remote location of the school, all courses come with accommodation in cabins(shared/individual) and meals included. Many of the programmes also include trips, tours and excursions. All courses focus on Spanish, as well as the local Kichwa language, ensuring a well rounded and special experience.
Additional information: Consisting of a team of young professionals in environmental conservation, engineers, publicists, wildlife experts and teachers, AGS has been supplying unique study and learning opportunities to students for many years. The school has a meditative and nurturing environment, developed from a respect for nature, as well as the culture and wisdom of the local indigenous peoples.
