Location: FIL - Français Immersion Loisirs is located in the breathtaking commune of Saint Laurent de Cerdans, in the Pyrénées in Southern France. Specialised in Junior Immersions courses, FIL has years of experience in giving French tuition to Juniors, along with in providing activities that take all that the surrounding area has to offer into consideration. FIL - Français Immersion Loisirs is a unique choice for any Junior student looking to develop their French whilst enjoying the outdoors.
Course selection: The immersion courses of FIL's are unique, situated in the beautiful surroundings of the mountainous Pyrénées in southern France. All courses are available throughout the summer months and combine tuition with full board accommodation and activities. Activity plans can include hiking through the Pyrénées, Kayaking on the Mediterranean Sea, canyoning, treetop adventure parks and lots more. Students will be sure to create the most memorable of experiences whilst taking part in fully immersive learning and activity programmes.
Additional information: FIL promotes that the best way for students to develop their understanding of the French language is through oral expression and practice. Participants are encouraged to speak French all day, during their workshops and activities, essentially giving them the best chance of developing their understanding of the language during their stay. Taking a course with FILS ensures that students spend their days speaking French, in an international atmosphere, whilst taking part in original and creative lessons, great activities and creating memorable moments.

- Kayak and stand-up paddle board on the Mediterranean Sea, a great time before sunset riding along the coast.
Treetop Adventure Park has different activities on the top of trees for all levels.
Hiking in the Pyrénées Mountains close to the Spanish border.
Canyoning, a great adventurous activity in a canyon, 2 hours down the river: 3 rappels of 3, 16 and 26 meters high - 3 jumps (not required) of 3, 4 and 7 meters, passage under the rock, natural water slide (adapted for teenagers). Supervised by licensed instructors.
Cabaret, games and night activities at the « Le Noell »: the FIL team organises activities every evening. note to all artists who can bring their instrument or material, ... You are the actor of the night, the stage is yours.

Shopping and visit Céret, St Laurent de Cerdans and Argelès, discover typical Catalan cities, places steeped in history, where you can shop in boutiques and buy souvenirs!

An overnight bivouac on the domain of "Le Noell".
