Location: Enforex Tenerife is a Spanish language institute located on the popular Canary Island of Tenerife, Spain. Housed close to the coastline in Puerto de la Cruz, the school is well-positioned for access to eateries, bars, shops, amenities, and sites of social and cultural interest. Such places within walking distance of the school include Martianez Beach, Lago Martiánez, Centro Comercial Martiánez, Playa de San Telmo and many more.
Getting around: The closest bus stop to the school is within a 280m walk. The surrounding area of the school is very manageable on foot and should be explored. The Puerto De La Cruz Bus Station is a 20-minute walk from the school's front doors.
Course selection: Enforex Tenerife supplies several types of Spanish courses, with something suitable to students of all levels. In addition to General Spanish taught over several schedules and intensities, the school provides Exam Preparation courses (SIELE, DELE), Gay Year Programmes, Spanish for 50+, Winter breaks in Tenerife and more.
Social and cultural: Tenerife is an island ripe and lush with natural sights, mountains, volcanoes, beaches and lakes. Enforex Tenerife provides several cultural activities such as salsa dancing, Spanish movie projections and culture classes on topics such as Spanish youth, Spanish wine, literature, art and more. Weekend excursions can include trips to Teide, La Gomera, La Caldera, Masca, Anaga, La Laguna, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Safari.

“The school is very well located, and I had the same two professional and friendly teachers during my six weeks there. There was a good range of activities on offer, but unfortunately not enough students were interested for the activities to take place.”
“Problem with one of my teachers, Dausel, who talked too much BEFORE starting class, talking about Cuba, his country of origin, for about 30 minutes before class started. This went on for a whole week and then again the following week. On Tuesday, he looked at his phone when the class finally started at 9:45 a.m. I went to see the director afterwards to inform her, and the next day everything was perfect. The teacher started class at 9:00 a.m. for the rest of my stay.”

Other comments: On the day we arrived, when we got off the bus, we were three minutes away from the apartment where I was staying, but we had to walk 20 minutes through the city to pick up the keys at the VALLEMAR hotel near the school and then walk all the way back to get to the apartment, all with our suitcases. It would be more convenient to find a place near the apartment where we could leave the keys.

“In addition to the very central location, the teachers and headmistress are the highlight of this school. Welcoming, helpful and kind people who make the school atmosphere a home in which to learn and experiment freely.”
Quality of teaching / language progress: 20 hours per week is ideal to always have free afternoons to visit. I recommend this course mainly to those who stay from 4 weeks onwards. Those who stay fewer weeks and like me start from an absolute beginner level, I recommend doing more hours or perhaps combining with private lessons.

"The apartment is exceptional. I started language stays 12 years ago, and this was the first time I had seen such a beautiful apartment. It is on the fourth floor of a modern building with an elevator. All the rooms in the apartment are modern, clean, spacious, and bright. The kitchen is huge and has a washing machine and dishwasher. You can see the peak of Mount Teide from the living room and one of the bedrooms. I give the apartment a 10/10.
