Location: EC English Vancouver is located in the beautifully scenic city of Vancouver, Canada. Situated in the heart of the downtown area, the school is surrounded by a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and several of the city's attractions. Escaping from the downtown inner-city hustle is easy whilst at EC Vancouver as the beautiful green space of Stanley Park, which also houses the Vancouver Aquarium, is within a 30-minute walk of the school's front doors. Also within walking distance, students have attractions such as the Science World Museum, the Vancouver Art Gallery, multiple parks, shopping malls and the Vancouver Public Library. With the Granville and Vancouver City Centre Metro stations, only a moment's walk from the school, students of EC Vancouver have the city and its attractions at their fingertips.
School facilities: The facilities of EC Vancouver are of a very high standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable inside and outside of the classroom. These facilities include a library, a lounge area, a computer lab and free WIFI. Classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards, air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Social and Cultural: The school offers a varied social and cultural programme of activities, excursions and workshops, many of which are free of charge. Such activities and workshops can include pronunciation clinics, a series of lectures, Conversation Sessions, a Lynn Canyon and Chinatown tour, yoga, soccer, and much more!
What makes the school special: EC English has a number of interesting extras included with the course: Free Access to Microsoft Office for the duration of the course; Orange Carpet Experience; Sunday Welcome Activity; extra language workshops and activities and access to MyEC from booking.
School chain: EC English Schools are all part of the larger group of EC Holdings Ltd. As a group, they have pushed boundaries within English tuition, for all levels and age groups, for many years. The group consists of multiple schools, spread throughout locations such as the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Malta and South Africa.

This course consists of general English lessons and English for Work lessons. These lessons focus on teaching the student skills for working in an English-speaking environment. This includes negotiations, management, HR, branding, promotional strategies, project management, business ethics, giving presentations, and preparing for interviews. There will be assessments throughout the course which take place both in the classroom and through assignments. Additionally, there will be 5 weekly progress tests, 5 weekly tutorials and progress reports, and an exit test.
