Location: EasyFrench Montpellier is a French language school located in the modern city of Montpellier, in the Languedoc region of France. The school is housed in the city centre and has many amenities, bars, restaurants and attractions nearby. Sites of interest within walking distance of the school include the Place de la Comedie, Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, the Opera Orchestre National Montpellier Occitanie, the Centre Commercial Polygone, the Jardins de Plantes and many more. There are also several links to public transport just a short walk away from the school's front doors.
Accommodation: The school supplies various types of accommodation throughout the year, with something tailored to the needs of many students. In addition to homestay with local families, rooms in shared apartments on the University campus and student residences are also readily available.
Course selection: In addition to General French available in various intensities, EasyFrench Montpellier provides Exam Preparation programmes (DELF/DALF), One-to-One tuition and University Preparation. 50+ programmes for more senior students are also available several times throughout the year.
Social and cultural: EasyFrench Montpellier is happy to assist students with arranging their social and cultural plans during their stay. With sites such as the Montpellier Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, Promenade du Payrou and the Place de la Comedie all within walking distance, students are sure to have much to do inside and outside the classroom.
Getting around: The school is within a 200m walk of the Observatoire tram stop and has many amenities, attractions and services within walking distance.

“I was very happy with my course and teacher. The mix of people in my class was right for me too. My course instructor handed out practice sheets, which I thought was great. But that doesn’t seem to be the case every time.”
“With some teachers, you apparently have to download the learning materials via a QR code, so you can’t write directly on the worksheets. Probably a matter of preference. Of course, this option saves paper.”

"My host, Veronique, was the best thing that could have happened to me. She was very warm, friendly, funny, helpful, and patient. I really learned a lot about the language and French culture from her!

"Host mother wrote to you at 9 o'clock in the evening to tell you that you had to be out at 9 o'clock the next day (on departure).
The host mother didn't really speak English, which meant she couldn't communicate properly.
Host mother came into the room without notice and regularly took things out.
Host mother was generally not really enthusiastic about having someone in the house.
Doing the laundry was difficult. Last Wednesday I wanted to do all my laundry, but I was warned that I wasn't allowed to do it. Drying laundry was also no longer okay because I would take up too much space, although she showed me the place I was allowed to use, and I only used this place (half a clothes horse and two chairs).
I was not allowed to turn on the light during the day because I was supposed to use the sunlight and when I went to the bathroom she went into my room and turned it off (this was in the evening).
On the last day, I was "kicked out" of the apartment.

"The student residence "Observatoire" has a great location and very available staff, however spending summer there has been horrible. No AC, one fan left by someone before me, opening the window at night meant mosquitoes and shouting from youngsters until late at night. This affected by sleep and quality of my learning at the school, and definitely the pleasure of the overall experience.
The management of the garbage is very confusing.
